Local Grain Revolution

During a visit to Vancouver Island in November, Transition Cocagne (TC) shot a few pictures at Makaria farm. Brock McLeod and Heather Walker are the instigators of the Island Grains project, which gives people in Duncan BC area a chance to learn how to grow grain. According to Brock and Heather, if it’s possible to grow carrots and potatoes for our personal consumption, why not grow our own grain for flour?
